West Jerome

A volcanogenic massive sulphide copper target 2.4 km south of the past-producing United Verde Mine.

Location

Jerome district, AZ

Claims

~5 km²

Target

High-grade massive sulphide

Interest

100%

Geology

A VMS camp targeting high-grade massive sulphide. Two favourable stratigraphic horizons extend from the adjacent United Verde mine, and strong chloritic alteration consistent with a VMS feeder pipe has been identified at surface and in limited drilling.

Historical context

The nearby United Verde Mine produced 33 million tons of 4.36% Cu, 1.53 opt Ag and 0.042 opt Au. Past production on adjacent ground is not necessarily indicative of mineralization at West Jerome.
