August 13, 2026 – Vancouver, British Columbia – Phenom Resources Corp. (TSX-V: PHNM) (OTCQX®: PHNMF) (FSE: 1PY0) announced continued commercialization progress for MK Plus Co., Ltd., a Japanese battery developer in which Phenom holds a 5% equity stake. MK Plus is advancing next-generation Vanadium Solid-State Battery technology.
Since April 2026, MK Plus has secured a modern Swedish manufacturing facility and attracted over 10 additional prospective customers across Europe and the Middle East. MK Plus Sweden AB received approximately SEK 120 million (US$12 million) from the Swedish Energy Agency to support continued industrialization of advanced battery manufacturing.
Retooling of the Swedish plant for commercial battery production is underway; deliveries are expected to commence this fall to customers including Austria’s Burgenland state government and Agelus/Aramco in Saudi Arabia.
